Kremlin reveals details of Putin-Trump conversation: We invited him to come to Moscow

Moscow has revealed new details about the 90-minute conversation between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, where the possibility of a peace deal in Ukraine was discussed.
According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Trump called for a quick cessation of hostilities and reaching an agreement. For his part, Putin stressed the importance of addressing the “root causes” of the conflict, although Peskov did not provide specific details on the matter.
"President Putin stressed the need to address the root causes of the conflict and agreed with Trump that a long-term solution can be achieved through peace negotiations," Peskov told reporters.
The Russian president also expressed support for a new approach to relations between the two countries, emphasizing that "the time has come for Russia and the US to work together." Putin invited Trump to visit Moscow and expressed his willingness to host American officials for discussions on issues of common interest, including the conflict in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Russia's foreign intelligence chief, Sergei Naryshkin, described the conversation between the two leaders as "deep and meaningful," state news agency RIA reported.
