A study shows that men stress women twice as much as children

Research shows that husbands can be a significant source of stress for women, sometimes even more so than their children. A survey conducted by Today of over 7,000 mothers found that the average reported stress level was 8.5 out of 10, with 46% of respondents indicating that their husbands caused them more stress than their children.
The main stressors included a lack of help from spouses with parenting and household duties, causing many women to feel overwhelmed by the dual responsibility of work and home life.
Further studies, such as those from the University of Padova, suggest that this stress imbalance can have long-term health effects. When men lose their wives, their health tends to deteriorate, while widows often experience improved health and reduced stress, highlighting the inequality in support between partners.
