Rama: Out of the 60 ministers I have had, two have been convicted and one deputy prime minister is on the run

Prime Minister Rama has responded to criticism that part of the government cabinet is in prison with concrete figures. Furthermore, Rama considers the fact that several former ministers are in prison or on trial a strong point that proves that justice has not been obstructed.
"In 3 mandates I have had 60 ministers, so far two ministers from the first mandate have been convicted, another is in detention, who could very well have been prosecuted in a free state, but has not been convicted. And another former deputy prime minister has fled. On the one hand, these are a reflection of an iron political will not to hinder justice from doing its independent work without looking left and right. And without this will this would never have happened. On the other hand, a thief is someone who is convicted with evidence and not someone who is convicted and lynched with stones in the market. Saying that all thieves have been found is like joining the chorus of blabbering of the political-media herd," said Rama.
