Ozempic, a medication designed to treat diabetes, is also being widely used by various people to treat obesity.
This use is reducing the market access opportunities of those who have a medical need for this medication. Moreover, the use of Ozempic for weight loss is also viewed with great criticism, as it is said that the moment you stop taking it, you return to your previous state, or even with more kilograms.

“Ozempic treats obesity as a disease. The problem with Ozempic is its sensationalization and the misuse of Ozempic towards people who do not need it. Otherwise, I think it is good that it is for people who need it, because obesity is more dangerous than Ozempic,” said Rita.
