The Italian Trade Agency (ITA), in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Tirana, is holding a special Made in Italy promotion from February 10 to 16, 2025, on the occasion of Italian Design Day (IDD) in Albania.
The theme of this edition focuses on the role of design in reducing the impact of inequalities on people's well-being in everyday life. The aim is to illustrate the advantages of a design conceived taking into account the needs of as many people as possible, both in work environments and in residential spaces. Italian design is in fact able to combine beauty, innovation and sustainability in every object of daily life. The quality that characterizes it stems from the ability to conceive and create products that combine aesthetic and functional requirements, to meet any need for increasing comfort and reducing contrasts.
The initiative aims to promote and highlight the characteristic of design as a distinctive element of the "Italy brand". In this context, Italy and Albania will be united by a common focus on beauty, innovation and sustainability. Thanks to the distribution network, showrooms and stores that are active partners of the project, such as Abita, Coin e Coin Casa, Interni Design, Le Futur, Magniflex, Marvol - Casa dell'Architetto, OVS, Skosmetics, Studio Luce by A Bi Esse, Ventoro by Automita, consumers in Albania will be able to find truly Italian products in a wide range of design application sectors, such as furniture, mobility, decorative objects, lighting, fashion, accessories and beauty. Promotional campaign and exhibitions near 13 points of sale in Tirana, Durrës and Fier, with the aim of increasing the visibility, distribution and sales of Italian products, strengthening marketing towards the consumer and facilitating the launch of new Italian brands and products in local large-scale distribution segments.
The in-store promotional initiatives will be accompanied by a digital and social media communication campaign. Finally, the initiative is complementary to the incoming activities in Italy and assistance to exporting companies in Albania and aims to maintain market awareness, in synergy with other IDD initiatives organized by the Italian Embassy in Tirana and the Italian Institute of Culture.
