Albania officially celebrates the Alphabet Day for the first time. The

November 22 is celebrated today for the first time as a national holiday. This day was included in the calendar of official holidays to turn attention to one of the greatest national assets, the language.

"The Albanian language, yesterday today, forever. Let's preserve it, love it, pass it on to the generations to come", congratulated Prime Minister Rama.

In the meantime, we remind you that the draft of the big dictionary of the Albanian language is expected to be published today. The dictionary will be available online and then printed in early 2025.

The dictionary will have about 120,000 words and will become the fourth largest dictionary of the Albanian language.
