The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has answered questions from prison on the "Review" show on Euronews Albania and has said that he owes it to his family and the city to fight for innocence. Veliaj has also focused on the stance of the Socialist Party and Prime Minister Rama, describing them as doing the right thing and has expressed his full trust in the Prime Minister, saying that he has a life working with him.

Veliaj said that on Tuesday he would argue that he was declared convicted on the front page; sued by Nesti Angoni, who according to him does not exist, and was asked to show remorse, when there was still no charge, emphasizing that he was given a 20-year vetting, something that, according to him, has not been done to anyone else.
