Prime Minister Edi Rama, at the meeting of the SP parliamentary group, commented again on the arrest of Mayor Erion Veliaj, but also made a comment about SPAK.
"In the case of GJKKO, this is a case that needs to be looked at. The High Inspectorate of Justice may listen to me, but this is very serious. And let them not make the mistake of coming to ask for my phone, because they have collected the phones of all of Albania, let them go and deal with the facts. Let them use their independence to do justice and not politics. When I say politics, this is what I mean: since we are leaving one on the balcony, let's catch 3 of these others. Since we caught the mayor, let's catch this other one for a diploma. Let's end up in SPAK for a diploma... what is this? This is what I mean when I say politics. They follow the media, they get complex and act out. And let them not make the mistake of asking for my phone because they have enough, they have collected all the phones of Albania there. Let's deal with the facts," said Rama.
