Rama in Bled, Slovenia: The Growth Plan for the Western Balkans is on track

Prime Minister Edi Rama is participating in the Strategic Forum in Bled, Slovenia. During his speech, the prime minister said that the growth plan in the Western Balkans is on the right track, as he did not hesitate to joke again that people from the Balkans should not be put on a stopwatch when they speak.

I told you in Prague, when you invite people from the Balkans, don't put a stopwatch on the speaking time. I felt encouraged, that I finally heard a name from a country that is already in the EU, saying what I have been saying since the first day. It was Putin's job. He had to invade a country to help the EU realize that it is living in a parallel world. A year ago, here in Bled, von der Leyen promised the new growth plan that is now on track. We have to do all the work to be ready to enter the EU. Let's get more instruments and enter more areas of the EU. It is a moment where I feel positive about the EU".

The Bled Strategic Forum, which takes place annually in the mountain town of Bled in Slovenia, is a platform for dialogue and exchange of ideas on the most important challenges facing nations and regions.
