Rama: No male MP who has received a mandate in the Socialist Party will be on

In the meeting with the SP parliamentary group, which is being broadcast live, Prime Minister Rama announced that no male MP with at least one mandate will be on the closed lists. Political leaders will also be on the open lists.

"Coming to the party and the alternative, or what we should give to Albanians in these elections. We should give them the oldest party in experience and the youngest in energy. Today I say to myself, what courage it takes to be inexperienced and want to lead the country. Today we have the experience that no political party has. We have re-registered the SP. And from the discussions with political leaders, I see that a significant number from the "Deputy We Want" platform will be in our May 11 team.

"We have not yet concluded the entire process, but what I want to share is that anyone who does not accept to be on the open list should let the political leader know. No male MP who has received a mandate in the SP will be on the closed list. In principle, the fight should be waged by those who have a lot of experience and those who have more from the SP. Political leaders should be on the open list. The regional teams should have political direction. No political leader should get involved in preferences about who the socialist members and citizens should vote for," said Rama.
