Prime Minister Edi Rama, also the leader of the Socialist Party, will be on the closed list in the Tirana district for the May 11 elections.
Also from the Socialist Party, for the Tirana district, the names on the safe list are: Ogerta Manastirliu and Elisa Spiropali, both political leaders, Ervin Hoxhaj, Minister of Interior, Adea Pirdeni, Minister for Anti-Corruption, Lindita Nikolla, former Speaker of the Parliament, Igli Hasani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Blendi Gonxhe, Minister of Economy and Culture, Helena Kaçe and Zerina Bruçi, both coming from the newer structures of the SP.
For the Socialists on the open lists, where the competition will be strongest and where MPs will have to receive the direct vote, they are expected to be: Erion Braçe, Etilda Gjonaj, Fatmir Xhafaj, Ermonela Felaj, Xhemal Qefalia, Toni Gogu, Ornaldo Rakipi and Pandeli Majko.
