Women and young people on the closed lists of the Socialist Party! 4 mayors aim to run for MPs

New details emerge from Prime Minister Edi Rama's meeting with the regional political leaders of the Socialist Party. According to reports, Rama has been holding meetings since 9 am, where he discussed the names of candidates for the May 11 elections.
Blendi Klosi has submitted the list of candidates for the Dibër district to the Prime Minister, while other meetings have been held with Mirela Kumbaro, Benet Beci, Voltana Sako, Niko Peleshi and Bledi Çuçi.
It is learned that the closed lists will include women and young people, or candidates who have not had more than one parliamentary mandate. Meanwhile, four current mayors have expressed their desire to run for MPs:
• Ervin Demo (Berat)
• Peçi Earthquake (Tepelena)
• Agron Malaj (Kukës)
• Juliana Memaj (Dimal)
The deadline for submitting the lists is March 12, while Rama's meetings with the district leaders are expected to continue. On the other hand, the Democratic Party Presidency is also expected to convene its structures to determine its candidates for deputies.
