The Special Court sentences Alqi Bllako to 4 years in prison for the Tirana

The Criminal Court of Kosovo has sentenced former socialist MP Alqi Bllako to 4 years in prison for the Tirana incinerator case.

The GJKKO finds Bllako guilty of passive corruption of high-ranking state officials and local elected officials. Bllako held the position of former Secretary General of the Ministry of Environment at the time.

Due to the shortened trial, Bllako will have to serve 2 years and 8 months in prison.
