Jemin Gjana, the head of the Electoral Commission in the Democratic Party, officially declared Lulzim Basha the winner of the elections in the Democratic Party. He said that out of 75 thousand 67 members of PD, 41 thousand 97 members voted. Out of them, 413 votes were declared invalid, 40 thousand 684 votes were valid. According to Gjana, Lulzim Basha has received 32 thousand 882 members. Agron Shehaj came in second with 6038 votes. Fatbardh Kadilli was the least voted.
