After a heated exchange with Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has left the White House and a joint press conference has been canceled. Trump reacted immediately, expressing his dissatisfaction with Zelensky's stance and emphasizing that he is not ready for peace.
Trump's reaction: We had a very meaningful meeting at the White House today. Much was learned, but nothing could ever be understood without conversations under such fire and pressure. It's amazing what comes out of emotions, and I have decided that President Zelensky is not ready for peace if America is involved, because he thinks our involvement gives him a huge advantage in the negotiations. I don't want advantages, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in his beloved Oval Office. He can come back when he's ready for peace.
