Donald Trump has said he has no intention of deporting Prince Harry from the United States amid an ongoing legal dispute over his immigration status. Trump also took the opportunity to criticize his wife Meghan Markle.
“I don’t want to do that,” Trump said when asked about the possibility of Harry leaving the U.S. “I’ll leave him alone. He has enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”
His remarks come as Prince Harry faces scrutiny of his US visa application, following claims by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, that he may have lied about his past drug use.
Trump's comments seem to suggest that, regardless of the outcome of the case, he has no personal interest in Harry's deportation.
