Pope Francis has had a peaceful night and his prognosis appears to be improving. His life is out of danger.
This does not mean that I blamed it on the pulmonary disease, but only that the condition is stabilized for the moment and does not pose an imminent danger.
The Vatican leader has been in hospital for several weeks with serious respiratory problems. The last time he communicated with the faithful was when he sent an audio message from the hospital thanking them for their prayers for his health.
