Musk: I'm getting death threats over federal spending cuts

During President Donald Trump's first Cabinet meeting of his second term, Elon Musk drew attention with a dire warning about the economic future of the United States. Wearing a black "MAGA" hat and a "Tech Support" T-shirt, Musk stressed that unless federal spending is cut, the country could be headed for bankruptcy.
“We simply cannot sustain a $2 trillion deficit as a country. The interest on the national debt alone now exceeds the Department of Defense’s spending,” Musk said. “If this continues, bankruptcy will be inevitable.”
The billionaire revealed that he has received death threats for his role in cutting spending and his public warnings. Despite the pressure, he said his goal is to save America from financial collapse.
"I'm here because it's essential that we do this. It's not an option, it's a necessity," Musk concluded.
