Zamir Dule, the journalist of the black chronicle, has passed away at the age of 55. He will be taken to his last residence today.
Dule died in a private hospital in Tirana, after a surgical intervention. The family members announced the sad news.
Zamir Dule became famous in 1996, when he also wrote the book "Monster of Tropoja". In 1997, he was raped by the police in the premises of the editorial office of the "Koha Jonë" newspaper, when the latter was set on fire.
He was accompanied to the police where he was tortured and as a result had mental health problems.
He had been suffering from heart disease for a long time and his family had often called for help.
