Should we keep staying home? What about the beach?

By Albatros Rexhaj / This issue of the mandatory quarantine for 14 days after each trip abroad, which is rumored to remain in force even after the opening of the borders, is not well thought out. This made sense when we thought that Covid-19 would disappear in two to three months at most, but now that it is more than clear that the world will have to coexist with this virus, perhaps by 2022, it is time to review it. all decisions and to adapt to the new situation. Given that we Albanians are a small nation but also divided into five states, I think it is necessary to think that the countries where we live, namely Albania, Kosovo, Northern Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro - following the example of the protocol special that the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland or the similar protocol of the Baltic republics have decided today - a regional safe travel area must be created during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Within this area, we, the citizens of these countries (and here the greatest benefit is for us ethnic Albanians) could travel freely, without quarantine and other complications, in order to keep alive family, social, love ties, but especially economic ones, including summer and winter tourism. If we do not do this, but also many other bold decisions, I fear that this situation will turn into an unbearable anxiety that will eventually result in a multiple collapse. As for clarification, my opinion has no political agenda (especially those with conspiracies) or the like. It is simply a completely personal opinion of mine, as a private citizen, driven by the boredom and fatigue that this extremely prolonged situation has created.
