This is star power. Adam Sandler showed up at the Oscars in basketball shorts and a hoodie, making the rounds on the internet.
Conan O'Brien, when he saw it from the stage, made fun of it
saying he was dressed like a guy who had been playing video games and poker until 2am.
Adam replied, "No one cared what I wore until you pointed it out. Can I tell you something, Conan? I like the way I dress, because I'm a nice person. I don't care what I wear or what I don't wear. Did my stylish shorts and soft sweatshirt bother you so much that you had to insult me in front of my colleagues?"
Meanwhile, the sweatshirt worn by Sandler sold out that same night.
