Three mayors from the Socialist Party have resigned this Tuesday, as they are expected to be part of the lists for deputies in the May 11 parliamentary elections.
Who are the mayors who will run for MPs?
• Ervin Demo, mayor of Berat, has officially submitted his resignation and will be on the SP list for the Berat district.
• Agron Malaj, mayor of Mat Municipality, has resigned and is expected to run in the Dibra district.
• Tërmet Peçi, mayor of Tepelena Municipality, will run on the SP list for the Gjirokastër district.
According to election rules, lists of candidates for deputies must be submitted to the Central Election Commission (CEC) by tomorrow evening, before midnight (00:00).
