Tomorrow is Summer Day, roads where vehicle traffic will not be allowed

The State Police has published a plan of measures taken for tomorrow in the framework of the Summer Day activities. It is announced that in order to ensure the smooth running of the activities, there will be restrictions on the movement of vehicles on the main road axes in the city centers.

In Elbasan, during this afternoon and tomorrow, vehicle parking and circulation will not be allowed on several road segments in the city center, while in Tirana, during the next day, until the end of the activities, vehicle circulation will not be allowed on the "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard and on "Papa Gjon Pali II" and "Ibrahim Rugova" streets.

State Police/Measures plan for the smooth running of the activities that will take place on 14.03.2025, on the occasion of Summer Day.

For the implementation of this plan of measures, employees of the Public Order Police, the Traffic Police and the General Patrol will be engaged in the field, throughout the country, who will be supported by services of the National Security Force. These employees will be scheduled to serve in the squares and streets where activities will take place, in which there will be a large number of citizens and vehicles.

To ensure the smooth running of the activities, there will be restrictions on the movement of vehicles on the main road axes in the city centers. In Elbasan, during today's afternoon and tomorrow, parking of vehicles and their circulation on several road segments in the city center will not be allowed, while in Tirana, during tomorrow, until the end of the activities, vehicle circulation will not be allowed on the "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard and on "Papa Gjon Pali II" and "Ibrahim Rugova" streets.

The Traffic Police and Municipal Police services will be on the ground to monitor the movement of vehicles, in order to avoid traffic jams and to guide drivers to alternative routes. The State Police appeals to citizens to implement the restrictive measures and cooperate with the Police to help in the smooth running of the activities.
