The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime has responded to the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, regarding the published transcript between him and prosecutor Olsi Dado.
"Given your high and ongoing interest, and by submitting a request for information, based on Law No. 119/2014 'On the Right to Information', as amended, regarding the authenticity of the part of the minutes of the court session, dated 12.02.2025, published today by the person under investigation Erion Veliaj, on his social network 'Facebook', we inform you that it is not true. After verifying the audio system of the court session, specifically in the time interval 18:34:02 - 18:34:57, as well as from the official minutes of the session, it does not appear that prosecutor Ols Dado used the word "filth" or any other derogatory expression," the GJKKO statement states.
