SPAK is seeking a 5-year prison sentence for former MP Alqi Bllako.
According to SPAK, Bllako is guilty of "passive corruption of high-ranking state officials and local elected officials" in 2 cases, committed during the concession contract of the Tirana Incinerator.
In addition to the prison sentence, SPAK also requested an additional sentence, the removal of the right to exercise public functions for 5 years.
The next hearing will be held on March 7 at 1:00 PM, where Bllako's lawyers are expected to present their defense and then the GJKKO decision will be announced.
In the application of the summary trial, if Bllako is found guilty, his sentence will be reduced by 1/3, reducing it to 3 years and 4 months in prison.
