Rama: Geopolitical turmoil has created the need for the EU to grow

Prime Minister Rama from Kamza spoke about the upcoming elections and the current situation in the European Union, along with the importance of enlargement.
"The EU is an open window that we must seize before it closes. It is not a window that is open forever and awaits us when we are ready. We may be ready, but the window closes. The war in Ukraine, geopolitical turmoil have created the need within the EU to increase the number of states and for the EU to include new members within itself.
"We will close this negotiation within 2027. There is no way that we will lose not a year, but even a month. There is no way that we will go to the elections and a result will emerge that could compromise everything. We should not simply have an arithmetic victory but a triumph for the SP. On May 11, they should not think first of the party and the logo, but they should think of Albania at the negotiating table that should close these negotiations within 2027," said Rama.
