From March 3rd, any new recruitment procedures in the state administration will be banned due to the general elections on May 11th.
Minister of State for Public Administration and Anti-Corruption, Adea Pinderi, said in a statement to the media from the Prime Minister's Office that the Council of Ministers had approved the decision to take measures and monitor the activity or use of human resources of the state administration during the elections.
"From March 3, any recruitment in the administration is prohibited, to hire new employees, no new employment procedures will be carried out in ministries and joint-stock companies where the state is the owner. There will only be an exception when it comes to emergency needs in areas such as key infrastructure or medicine," the minister said.
