The head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, stated in a press conference that March 9 could be the deadline for diaspora registration, as the preliminary list must be announced. This statement comes after the DP's request to extend the deadline for diaspora registration so that it does not end on March 4.
Celibashi said that other deadlines can be discussed until March 9, but without a legal amendment, there can be no extension beyond this date. He added that the SP did not agree with this request, arguing that the 4th is the deadline known to everyone.
