Zoom creates the new option so that students are not distracted while learning online
Zoom announced this week some updates it will make. The application launches online today a new option called "Focus". From the name itself, as implied it was created primarily to keep students focused on video conferencing.
The option comes at the right time when the world needs it most. New variants of Covid are increasing the incidence of infections again. Many people are still skeptical of the vaccine and refuse to do so. School is approaching. Certain lessons or hours may need to be conducted online from time to time. Thus Zoom is doing an honor to pupils, students, but also teachers. That ultimately dads speak, explain and deserve to be listened to attentively.
But what does the new option consist of?
The video call caller, if he activates 'mode on' will have the opportunity to watch every pupil or student, but peers will not have access to each other's cameras to distract themselves.
So students will only look at the teacher, while the teacher or lecturer will be able to look at everyone.
