Meta-owned WhatsApp is rolling out another feature that will allow users to send audio messages that can only be played once, WaBetaInfo reported.
The feature, called audio messages, will be played only once, as will photos (optional).
This will be available in a future update as it is still in development.
"Audio messages sent using this mode will only be playable once. As with viewing images and videos once," a statement read.
This feature will provide better communication privacy and security for its users as the audio message will only be allowed to be played once, reducing the risk of someone else being able to listen or access the voicemail later.
