An innovation in WhatsApp for those who are annoyed by voice messages on WhatsApp, or simply cannot hear them.
The platform now makes it possible to transcribe audio messages.
The update, rolled out globally, will currently only support audio messages in English, Portuguese, Spanish and Russian.
As the company explains in the official blog, to enable the feature you'll need to enable it in Settings.
Then you will need to select a language from the available ones.
To transcribe a single voice message, simply press and hold it and select the “transcribe” option.
The message will then appear in the same chat window with the user.
