Safari, the second largest browser in the world with over one billion users

Safari has become the second largest browser in the world, with over one billion users.

According to a study published by Atlas VPN, in order to identify the most used browsers in the world, Google Safari is used by 20% of Internet users in the world.

Although Safari has surpassed the "magic" limit, it is not even close to Google Chrome in terms of numbers.

Atlas VPN has released data from GlobalStates and InternetWorld Stats, where according to their figures Google Chrome has over 3.3 billion users worldwide.

This means that Chrome has more than 64 percent of the overall browser market. Safari, Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Samsung Internet are next.

Microsoft Edge is used by over 212 million users - which is about 4% of the market. Firefox has 179 million users and thus has 3% of the market.

In the case of Samsung Internet, this browser has almost 150 million users or 2.8 percent of the market.
