Instagram can add a paid option
Meta, the company that owns Instagram, has planned a pilot program that will allow a group of users to offer paid subscriptions to exclusive "live" and "story" video materials.
They can charge a minimum fee, starting at 99 cents, up to $ 100 a month. For now, all the money will go to the creators of the material, but Meta, who also owns Facebook, will start taking his share, starting next year. CEO Mark Zuckerberg says the company will not hold on to creators more than 30%.
Instagram is not the only social platform that has experimented with paid subscriptions. For several months now, Twitter has been creating an option for creators to receive up to $ 10 for exclusive content.
