New Google and YouTube decision: No ads denying climate change

Google and YouTube will ban monetization with any ads that deny climate change or provide conflicting information. This decision was made after that regarding misinformation from vaccines.

It does not come from nothing. The world has been experiencing climate change for years, but drought has become a problem almost all over the world. Google made the decision following a recent report by a United Nations panel that warns of dire consequences unless immediate decisions are made to reduce pollution from gas emissions.

Control also applies, of course, to content posted on Google and YouTube that will not overlap with ads and will not generate any profits if they are fake and disseminate conflicting information.

Organizations fighting climate change have welcomed the decision and said there was still much to be done.
