UEFA fines Albania again for the match with Spain

The UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Commission decided to fine the Albanian Football Federation for the third time in the amount of 86,500 euros for the incidents that occurred in the third round match in the finals of the European Championship "Germany 2024" against Spain, which was played on the evening of Monday at the Düsseldorf stadium.

The fine came from the problems caused by some Albanian fans, who threw objects on the field of play, broadcast inappropriate messages, lit flares during the match, but also for interrupting the match by a fan during the game.

The full decisions of the UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Committee:

To fine the Albanian Football Federation with 8,500 euros for lighting flares.
To fine the Albanian Football Federation with 25,000 euros for broadcasting inappropriate messages for a sports event.

To fine the Albanian Football Federation with 45,000 euros for throwing things.
To fine the Albanian Football Federation with 8,000 euros for occupying the field.

This is the third fine that UEFA imposes on the AFL, as it was also fined in the two matches of the first European rounds, against Italy (37,375 euros) and Croatia (47,500 euros), but for the same reasons.
