A report just published this Thursday 3 October has revealed that nearly half of women going through menopause say they feel 'invisible', 'lonely' or 'insignificant' - with just 2% choosing to describe themselves as 'flourished' during this transition.
Furthermore, the findings of this study revealed that despite menopause having 48 signs, only a third of the women surveyed could name more than three of them.
The signs are:
Nail changes, tingling, night sweats, changes in breast size, lack of motivation, dry eyes, recurrent urinary tract infections, nausea and indigestion, sleep problems and insomnia, anxiety, mood swings, dizziness, changes in skin texture, dry mouth, panic disorder, sagging breasts, worsening of premenstrual symptoms, bladder weakness, itchy skin, decreased fertility, weight gain, nervousness, irregular heartbeat, hair loss , loss of concentration, feeling cold, bloating, acne, increased body odor, irregular periods, depression, changed skin, brain fog, joint pain, dental problems, changes in taste and smell, changes in sex drive, syndrome of burning mouth, rash, muscle tension, short-term memory problems, difficulty breathing, loss of bone density, vaginal dryness, fatigue, chest pain, headaches and migraines, loss of self-confidence.
