Prince Andrew is asking his queen mother to return him to royal duties, but William and Charles have persuaded Elizabeth to refuse.

The Duke of York reportedly begged his 96-year-old mother to return to her previous status and be allowed to attend official events.

Andrew stepped down from royal duties after being involved in the Jeffrey Epstein affair. Virginia Roberts Giuffre, one of the girls exploited by Epstein at the time, claims that Andrew also abused her. The prince has repeatedly denied the allegations.

Andrew was with Covid so he was not seen anywhere on his mother's Jubilee. However, he was not allowed to attend the next event, the Garter Order ceremony.

At a last-minute turn, the prince was removed from the list of participants.

The Queen has asked him to stay out of the public eye and attend only the private party.

But despite this, he remains ninth in line for the throne - and a Counselor of State - meaning he will be in the Queen's place if she is incompetent and Charles or William are out of the country.

Prince Andrew lives in the territory of Windsor Castle and is said to have daily contacts with his mother.

A few weeks after removing the titles, the queen asked her son Andrew to accompany her to the memorial of Prince Philip at Westminster Abbey. Andrew he walked his mother in a very symbolic moment.
