Italy's most handsome man quits modeling to become a priest
A boy once voted the most handsome in Italy has quit his modeling job to become a priest. Edoardo Santini, 21, was voted Italy's most handsome man in 2019 when he was 17.
But after studying drama and dance to pursue his dream of becoming a superstar, he took to social media on Saturday to give up his career for his faith.
"I, at the age of 21, find myself taking the path to become, God willing, a priest. "In these past few years I have been able to meet people who have shown me what it means to be 'the church,'" he continued.
"I have decided to give up modeling, acting and dancing, but I will not abandon all my passions, I will just live them differently, offering them to God," he said.
