William and Kate have chosen the new home. They will be transferred to Adelaide Cottage, a four-bedroom house with no resident staff inside.

She is very often alone, in addition to the staff and so will be pleased that William, Kate and her three great-grandchildren will be ten minutes away. At Kensington Palace, the family had to pick up the car to meet their great-grandmother on the weekends.

Now that the queen also has difficulty in mobility, she needs people close by. Kate has also found a new school for her children nearby.

The two together have decided not to do any renovations at home, so as not to weigh more in the pocket of British taxpayers, especially in a time of crisis. The house was built in 1831 and has undergone some renovation changes since then.
