You can get unlimited summer trips for $ 9.50 in this European country
Pack your bags, because the most affordable travel destination this summer, if we go by transport, seems to be Germany.
The German government has approved the creation of a monthly public transport ticket of € 9 ($ 9.50), which will start in June.
The card can be used throughout the country, in local and regional transport - trains, buses and trams, according to local media.
Well-known IC, EC and ICE trains are excluded - although you can combine a long-distance journey with regional transport covered by the permit. The trains marked RE are regional, and therefore part of the package.
The agreement will be implemented for the months of June, July and August, as part of a government package to facilitate energy by encouraging people to use public transport to move around this summer. The government has invested 2.5 billion euros ($ 2.6 billion) in the project.
