People over 65 in Spain could soon enjoy going to the cinema for just €2 under new plans unveiled by the country's prime minister, Pedro Sánchez.
The project, which will potentially benefit 9.5 million people, aims to encourage older people to go to the cinema to combat a passive lifestyle, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic.
It also aims to support an important Spanish cultural industry.
On Twitter, Sanchez wrote: We will turn culture into a state policy.
