They call them 'summer flings', but 4 out of 10 couples last forever
Summer romances are often seen as fleeting and fickle loves that last for a summer and then disappear with the holidays.
However, the cliché that summer is the season of love will have to be revised. A survey conducted by the Matrimonio.com community, in fact, found that 4 out of 10 couples that last over time are actually the fruit of a summer romance, confirming that even a summer fling can turn into something deeper. and more stable.
40% of the interviewed users stated that with the current partner everything started as a summer adventure which then gradually turned into a serious and solid relationship. The data does not represent the majority, but the numbers are high enough to undermine those clichés that saw summer loves as passions that fade with the autumn rains.
The survey also revealed that the period in which love blooms the most is from June 21 to September 21. Also, 35% of the couples involved in the study who will get married in the future met their spouse during the summer.
In second place is winter (30%), followed by spring (21%) and autumn (13%).
