The shape of planes can change and there is a major reason for this

Planes can change shape and the plane of the future could be triangular.

Over a century of commercial aviation, from the Ford Trimotor in the 1920s to today's Boeing and Airbus jetliners, it has been a constant shape. Airplanes are practically always long tubes sporting wings with engines, enclosed below, and a tail stabilizer at the rear.

Startup JetZero is aiming to make a radical change. A triangular-shaped aircraft that resembles a giant manta ray in the sky, with a shorter body but wide enough to carry cargo.

These types of aircraft are intended to consume half the amount of fuel that is normally required for a flight. Thus, environmental pollution is also lower.
