Motion sickness, seasickness or car sickness is a real problem for some, especially during holidays.

The diet should be light with non-fatty foods in the hours before the trip, especially foods that are generally eaten in the American breakfast such as bacon, sausage, pancakes, etc. should be avoided.

Bananas are also great, they're easy to peel and eat, and they're high in potassium.

Nausea and motion sickness are often caused by dehydration and excess stomach acid. Since this fruit is rich in starch, travelers can feel relief from nausea immediately.

Finally, ginger has always been considered a valuable anti-nausea remedy.
