Serie A shaken, Sampdoria president arrested
Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero has been arrested by the Guardia di Finannza following an arrest warrant issued by the Calabrian prosecutor. According to what the Italian media write, the investigations have nothing to do with the Sampdoria club but the president is being investigated for financial violations, including the declaration of bankruptcy of the companies he manages.
Ferrero was in a hotel in Milan at the time of his arrest and was immediately transferred to a prison in San Vittore. For this case, 5 other people have been arrested who are under house arrest.
