Albania-Poland / Swiderski talks about the attack by Albanian fans: It was partly my fault
Polish footballer Karol Swiderski has spoken about the riots at the Air Albania Stadium in the Albania-Poland match, saying that it was partly his fault after he ran towards them for no reason after the goal to celebrate.
"It was a fantastic feeling to score a goal in such a match, in a foreign stadium. I will surely remember it. On the other hand, the fact that the fans reacted that way was partly my fault. I ran aimlessly towards them to celebrate, but I was under the influence of emotions. "It's difficult, it happened," said Karol Swiderski.
Recall that during the match with Poland, which is valid for the qualifiers of the World Cup Qatar 2022, after the goal of the Poles, some Albanian fans began to throw bottles on the field towards the Polish players, an action that led to the suspension of the match for 20 minutes.
