Sergio Ramos speaks after Luis Enrique left him out of the World Cup: Unfortunately I will have to watch it on TV
Former defender of Real and the Spanish national team, Sergio Ramos has spoken publicly after coach Luis Enrique left him out of the team for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Ramos, who already plays for PSG, had numerous injuries last season and this caused him to be left out of the World Cup.
In a statement to the media, the footballer who has won 1 world championship and 2 European championships with the Spanish national team 'La Furia Roja' said: World Cup? Of course, it was one of those big dreams that had to be fulfilled. It would be the fifth, but unfortunately I will have to watch it from home. It's hard, but every day the sun rises again. Absolutely nothing will change about me. Not my mentality, not my passion, not the persistence, not the effort and dedication of 24 hours thinking about football. This is my feeling and I wanted to share it with you. Thank you all for the love, there are many challenges and goals to fulfill. See you soon. I wish you well. Let's go Spain!
