Qatar 2022 / Chaos on the field, the Brazil-Argentina match is interrupted in the 7th minute
The Brazil-Argentina match, valid for the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers, was interrupted in the 7th minute.
It is learned that the reason for the suspension of the match was the non-observance of anti-Covid measures.
A federal agent entered the field and demanded the match be stopped.
Afterwards, Argentine players intervened and tried to force him out of the field. At that moment chaos ensued and the two technical camps caught up with each other. Meanwhile, the referee ordered the suspension of the match which has not started yet.
The media reports that four Argentine players came from high-risk countries and had to be quarantined for several days, according to the rules of the Brazilian state, but this did not happen.
The names of the four players are, Emiliano Martinez, Cristian Romero, Gio Lo Celso and Emiliano Buendia.
Brazil wants to continue the match if the players who have broken the rule are willing to leave the field. On the other hand, the judge has been in the tunnel for minutes and has not yet made a final decision.
