The Japanese Culture Week closes with the judo and karate championship
At the end of the "Japanese Culture Week", the "Japanese Ambassador's Cup", a judo and karate mini-championship, took place in Tirana.
On the last day of the competition, the mayor Erion Veliaj thanked the Embassy of Japan and the Karate and Judo federations for the successful organization of this sports event and said that the Municipality will help improve the infrastructure for these sports.
"The fact that many parents have invested for their children to focus on judo and karate, on sports that, more than strengthening the muscles, strengthen the mind, heart and character, we will do our best as a municipality and as an embassy, ??to produce the infrastructure it is also necessary with Japanese craftsmen, so that Tirana's chunas and oysters have the best craftsmen, the best training and the most special care, both from the municipality and from the Embassy of Japan", said Veliaj.
This championship was organized by the Embassy of Japan in cooperation with the Albanian Karate Federation and the Albanian Judo Federation on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of friendship between the two countries, Albania and Japan.
