At the end of the "Japanese Culture Week", the "Japanese Ambassador's Cup", a judo and karate mini-championship, took place in Tirana.

On the last day of the competition, the mayor Erion Veliaj thanked the Embassy of Japan and the Karate and Judo federations for the successful organization of this sports event and said that the Municipality will help improve the infrastructure for these sports.

This championship was organized by the Embassy of Japan in cooperation with the Albanian Karate Federation and the Albanian Judo Federation on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of friendship between the two countries, Albania and Japan.
