Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic could also miss the Roland Garros tournament in France after the 'Australia Open' as he is not vaccinated.
On Sunday the number 1 tennis player was expelled from Australia losing the chance to win for the 10th time the 'Australian Open', but according to a new law in France he risks not entering this country in May.
The "Super Green Pass" is ready to enter into force in France and no exceptions will be made, not even for foreign athletes.
The news was also confirmed by the French Minister of Sports Roksana Maracineanu.
"The vaccination passport will be mandatory for spectators, but also for those who practice sports, for professional athletes, French and foreign," said the minister.
